Welcome!

Welcome to the home of the Construction Materials Association of California, or “CMAC”, as we’re often called.

CMAC is a non-profit member organization that was formed by the merger of two aggregate associations in 1998. We are the regional voice for aggregates and ready-mixed concrete companies throughout Northern and Central California. Our members also include suppliers and service providers.

Purpose

What Does CMAC Do?

CMAC is the Northern California trade association for aggregate and ready mixed concrete producers, suppliers, and service providers from the Oregon border to Bakersfield. We also:

  • Offer extensive information on aggregates to the public, government, teachers and students, business, the media, our members, and other organizations
  • Address legislative, regulatory, and environmental issues affecting the industry
  • Provide members with safety, technical, sales, and communications training
  • Work cooperatively with allied industry groups
  • Support K-12 teachers and students by helping the California Mineral Education Foundation provide earth science training workshops and materials to California’s K-12 teachers

Locations

CMAC is headquartered in Sacramento, but a network of 12 chapters enables members to focus on local issues.
