Guided by CMAC’s Environmental Principles, our members seek excellence in environmental and health and safety performance through wide ranging efforts in all areas of aggregate operations.

CMAC members comply with hundreds of complex county, state, and federal laws and regulations relating to environment, health and safety. By seeking to meet both the letter and the spirit of these laws, CMAC members express their commitment to environmental stewardship, ethical conduct, and good corporate citizenship.

CMAC aggregate producers are an integral part of California communities and are committed to a healthy, attractive, and sustainable future for all of our children.

NSSGA Publishes Haul Road Report
The National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association recently released a report showing lower emissions from truck traffic at aggregate plants. The testing was conducted at operations in California this past June by their contractor, Air Control Techniques. The report provides more accurate data on haul roads and supports the need for an industry specific emission factor.
