Committees

Governmental Affairs/Legal Committee
Provides guidance for the legislative and regulatory activities of the association, as well as directly responsible for land use and water resource issues. 

Member Services Committee
Coordinates actions and policies relating to membership and association services. 

Communications Committee
Oversees public affairs efforts and provides services and materials to assist the members to communicate information about our industry.  

Environmental Committee
Reviews legislative and regulatory developments that impact the industry. 

Technical Committee
Reviews and advises on specifications impacting aggregates and concrete and coordinates with the Caltrans-Industry Rock Products Committee. 

Transportation and Facilities Committee
Considers regulatory and legislative issues concerning transportation of goods, trucks, fleets, and licensing.

Taxation Committee
Reviews tax legislation and policies as they relate to the industry, and provides training for industry and regulators on assesment policies. 

Associate Members Committee
Addresses programs, policies and services to enhance the membership experience for Associate members.

Human Resources Committee
Reviews policy developments and provides training related to human resources issues.

Safety & Health Committee
Safety and health policies and training for aggregate, industrial mineral, and ready mixed concrete facilities. 

Credit Subcommittee
A regional committee.

Programs & Services

CalCIMA Truck ID Program
A coordinated program to identify aggregate delivery trucks. The program provides a unique truck identification number to individual trucks on an industry-wide basis. Expedites processing of truck deliveries and reduces errors compared to when trucks have multiple numbers. 

CalCIMA Weekly Update
A weekly review of policy developments and up-coming meetings, events, and training. 

CalCIMA News Clips
News on the industry from around that state is available on weekly basis for CalCIMA members. 

The Conveyor Magazine
An annual magazine that provides a technical reiew of issues and business trends for CalCIMA members and the public.

Annual Member Directory
An annual guide to CalCIMA members and companies. 

Membership Services
A variety of memberships services are available through the CaCIMA offices, whether it is quidance on how the latest regulatory and legislative developments affect your company, or simply needing mailing lists and labels.  

Annual Events

Annual Education Conference & Trade Show
This annual event provides an opportunity for an in depth look at current issues related to public policy, communications, technical, and safety and health developments, as well as to hear from state and industry leaders. It also includes a trade show. 

Spring Thaw Safety Seminars - Workshops held late in the winter to remind and up-date producers on safety issues.  Seminars are held at several locations around the state.

Workshops - CalCIMA conducts workshops to keep industry up-dated on rules and regulations related to air, water, land use, safety, and technical reglations and requirements.    

Legislative Day & Reception
Annual opportunity for members to meet their legislative representatives and communicate industry messages.
